Karl "Kip" Pennau

I am the solo owner and surgeon at Oral Surgery Associates of Colorado Springs. My desire is for each of my patients to receive the highest level of surgical care as well as to have an experience in excellence. We are a team-focused office that strives for precise attention to detail, exceptional communication and holding the highest respect for our patients and dental colleagues.

I completed my dental training at the University of Washington, which consistently ranks among the highest dental schools in the country. After dental school, I completed an additional four-year post-doctoral surgical residency. My wife and I moved here in 2013, and we have two children in school, and we feel fortunate to be able to raise them here.

Wisdom teeth removal is something I deal with daily. I understand that this is often our patient's first surgical experience. I offer in-office IV sedation, and our team does our best to make each patient feel comfortable and informed about the process from start to finish.

I also have extensive post-doctoral training and experience with bone grafting and placing dental implants. This encompasses everything from single tooth replacement to full mouth rehabilitation. I enjoy helping patients get back to having an aesthetic and functional smile. Many of these cases are complex and take time to achieve the desired results. I am dedicated to help my patients cross that finish line.

In a world of ever-changing providers that rotate through different offices, I hope to offer stability and predictability of care to the people of Colorado Springs and surrounding communities. I am independently owned and operated with no outside investors. I partner with my patients and referring doctors and keep their best interests first. You are all my neighbors and will be cared for like family.
