Joe Ostrand

Joe Ostrand is the owner and founder of Elevate Landscapes and Apex Athletes. Both are long-time clients of Wolf & Key. Joe is a good pal, a hard worker, a Marine, a hockey addict, and a conspiracy theorist. He’s a straight shooter in the best way. He’s one of our favorite people in Colorado Springs because he’s always open to new ideas and opportunities, he loves to travel, and whatever room he’s in is usually a lot more fun and positive because of him. Mike Bristol
Mike Bristol is the co-founder of Bristol Brewing, one of Southern Colorado’s first craft breweries, since 1994. Bristol is a long-time W&K client and one of our all-time favs. Nowadays, everyone uses the word “community”, but Mike and his wife Amanda have been living that word for decades. Aimee Cox
Aimee is the Chief Housing and Homelessness Officer of Colorado Springs, appointed by Mayor Yemi in ’24. Adam met her at Pinheadz Bowling league with a bunch of mutual pals. She’s been on our list to chat with on this show for quite some time. Homelessness is a front-and-center debate in COS (and pretty much everywhere), and we had a feeling we had a lot to learn. Turns out, Aimee has something huge in common with us. She does what she does because she cares about people. This was one of our most interesting/enlightening conversations on this show to date (according to Adam) and one that will probably hit home for anyone living in COS.

Mayor Yemi Mobolade
Yemi Mobolade is the 42nd Mayor of Colorado Springs. He made global headlines when he became mayor in 2023. He was the underdog everyone wrote off. He’s been an entrepreneur, a nonprofit founder, a pastor, and a city employee. But never a politician. He’s an immigrant from Nigeria, and a living example of the American dream. Wolf & Key handled the digital marketing for his first campaign. He and Adam have been friends since 2014. Adam learned a ton from him about business, work ethic, faith, and relationships.

Angela Seals
Angela Seals is the Executive Director of the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region (COPPR) and founder of Relevant Project Studio. She’s a 2024 CSBJ Woman of Influence and 2022 Juneteenth Community Award winner. A downtown Colorado Springs resident, a “bridge builder,” and a real badass. She spearheaded Arts Vision 2030, and serves on the Visit Colorado Springs and Public Art Master Plan boards to champion regional creative economic development. She’s doing her part…and then some!

James Proby is a Colorado Springs entrepreneur on a mission to clothe what he playfully calls the “worst-dressed city in America.” In 2017, he founded The Men’s Xchange, a social impact business that provides high-quality professional attire at accessible prices to ensure financial barriers never stand in the way of a man’s potential. His commitment to “helping men show up better” has made him a cornerstone of local workforce development and earned him honors like the 2023 Downtown Star award. James is quite a badass. His late father is the Rev. Dr. Milton E. Proby. Adam calls him King of the Hot Takes, and you’ll see why.
