Dr. Cody Boals

Kissing Camels Family Dentistry was founded on a vision to provide exceptional dentistry while building meaningful relationships with every patient. What started as a family-owned practice led by Dr. Cody Boals and his wife, Dr. Alexa Johnson, is still proudly family-owned and has grown into a collaborative team caring for families throughout Colorado Springs. Dr. Boals and Dr. Johnson met while attending Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. After graduating, they moved to Colorado Springs and opened Kissing Camels Family Dentistry with the goal of creating a practice where patients feel comfortable, valued, and genuinely cared for. As the practice has grown, so has the team. Today, they are joined by Dr. Rowan Kubeluis, Dr. Corbin Avey, and Dr. Adam Dore. Each doctor brings unique experience and perspective while sharing the same commitment to high-quality, patient-focused care. The philosophy at Kissing Camels Family Dentistry centers on giving back to the community and creating a dental practice where people feel at home and are treated like family while receiving the highest level of care. The patient experience is intentionally designed to feel different from a typical dental visit. Warm blankets, pillows, a beverage station, and a welcoming team help create a relaxed environment that eases dental anxiety and makes visits more comfortable. The practice also continues to invest in state-of-the-art technology and advanced training, allowing the doctors to provide a wide range of services with a strong focus on esthetics while keeping as much care in-house as possible. Community involvement remains central to the mission of Kissing Camels Family Dentistry. The team regularly partners with local nonprofit organizations, supports community initiatives, and hosts a free day of dental each year for community members in need.
