Dr. Sheila Soroushian

Dr. Sheila Soroushian is a Board-Certified Orthodontist who has had the privilege of caring for families across Colorado Springs and the surrounding mountain communities for more than a decade. After earning her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completing her orthodontic residency at Howard University, she chose to build her career in the community she now proudly calls home. Today, she leads Inner-Smiles Orthodontics, continuing a respected tradition of care that has served local children and adults since 1946, with offices in Colorado Springs and Woodland Park serving families throughout El Paso, Teller, and Park Counties. Known for her thoughtful, individualized approach, Dr. Sheila believes orthodontics is more than creating beautiful smiles -- it's about supporting confidence, health, and lifelong well-being. She personally sees each patient at every visit, fostering an environment where children feel comfortable and parents feel informed and reassured. Families especially value her careful attention to growth and development, allowing treatment to be timed thoughtfully for each child's needs. In addition to private practice, Dr. Sheila contributes her expertise as a member of the Children's Hospital Colorado Cleft Lip & Palate Team and collaborates with surgical specialists treating complex jaw conditions. Outside the office, Dr. Sheila enjoys sharing her love of the outdoors with her young son, especially camping and rock climbing together. An avid reader and lifelong learner, she continually seeks the most effective, evidence-based care for her patients. One of her favorite Colorado traditions has been joining the historic AdAmAn Club climb up Pikes Peak to welcome the New Year with fireworks from the summit.
