He is in the top 1% of robotic trained GYN surgeons, having performed over 2,000 robotic surgeries.Robotic assisted surgery is the least invasive form of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and provides the surgeon enhanced visibility and dexterity. This technique allows for even complex surgery using small incisions with improved outcomes and reduced risk of complications.Robotic assisted surgery is used in procedures such as hysterectomy, myomectomy to remove fibroids, endometriosis resection, and even tubal ligation reversal. Using the Robotic platform, most surgeries can be performed in an outpatient, same day setting with a shorter recovery time.He and Dr, Mikaelian have completed the Intuitive Surgical advanced course in pelvic prolapse repair and perform sacral colpopexy (the gold standard for prolapse repair) as well as surgery for incontinence.
