Since 1959 COLORADO SPRINGS NEUROLOGICAL ASSOCIATES (CSNA) has served the community and has grown to become the largest private Neuroscience facility in Southern Colorado. This year we are delighted to have 4 of our esteemed board-certified physicians recognized as Top Doctors. Dr. Ronald Hammers is proud to celebrate his 13th year at CSNA and is honored for his 8th consecutive Top Doctor distinction. This year marks a second term as President of the group. Specializing in cranial and spinal neurosurgery, Dr. Hammers is thoroughly invested in quality care leading to quality outcomes as he prioritizes the overall health and well-being of his patients. The significance he places on engaging in focused, attentive time with patients helps ensure everyone involved has a full understanding to achieve the best possible outcomes together. Amidst CSNA’s growth Dr. Hammers has been proud to be a part of a team leading the charge in excellence and advancements in private practice in an ever-changing healthcare industry. A father of 3, along with his wife Michelle, Dr. Hammers finds Colorado Springs to be a wonderful place for him to practice, live and raise a family.
A member of CSNA since 2014, Dr. Kimberly Wagner is humbled at her inclusion as a Top Doctor. Dr. Wagner prides herself on a highly relational approach to patient care as she tries to understand each patient’s experience to better help guide them on their treatment path. As a general neurologist she particularly likes the variety of patients and conditions she has the privilege to work with. She is a proud mother of 2 who appreciates that our city is just as variable and exciting as the field she practices in.
Dr. Julia Brinley is honored to be recognized as a Top Doctor. A general neurologist in her 9th year with the practice and on the heels of her 2023 term as CSNA’s first ever female president in the group’s 65 year history, Dr. Brinley is a champion of growth and interdisciplinary care within the practice and our community. She is most satisfied at the intersection of challenging cases and quality care as she works with patients and other providers to create care plans best fit to meet the needs of each diagnosis. Dr. Brinley aims to stay informative and relatable as she navigates the care journey with patients and their loved ones. A mother of 2 with a supportive husband, her dedication to excellence and innovation makes her proud to be a part of CSNA supporting the city she and her family love.
While having only been at CSNA for 3 years, Dr. Drake McDonald has been a presence in the neurological community of Colorado Springs for 2 decades. Dr. McDonald leverages his experience and research driven nature to navigate the most difficult of diagnoses with patients as he finds that the most fascinating thing about medicine is people. Thankful for being included as a Top Doctor this year, Dr. McDonald continues a legacy of service and support while enjoying being a part of a group dedicated to the pursuit of advancing neurosciences.
